minimum and maximum signals¶
- src.boatwright.Indicators.min_and_max.increasing_decreasing(s, period=1)¶
1 if series is increasing -1 if series decreasing
Note
maintains a reference previous value of the last ‘constant’ value in the signal used as reference for Increasing or Decreasing decision and thus expects intermittantly constant data, e.g. a min or max signal

signal indicating if the input series has changed recently (within period) 1 if increased, -1 if decreased, 0 if unchanged expects intermittantly constant data, e.g. a min or max signal
